Fanfare For The Common Man
In the orchestra, the brass and percussion players stand out because they are often simply the loudest. But they can also be different: in the moderated children's concert in the Rangfoyer, members of the orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin show the variety of sounds that can be found in the trumpet and trombone, timpani and xylophone. The programme includes works by Purcell, Rameau, Puccini, Copland and others, presented by Burkhard Ulrich.
