Since the dawn of opera, love has been the overriding theme played out onstage. In HEART CHAMBER Chaya Czernowin explores the ancient subject with a mixture of doubt and hope for a utopia of love. Three weeks before the premiere Chaya Czernowin hosts a matinee event to explore love as portrayed in the art of different periods. She will present a very personal selection of songs and lyrics that trace an arc from Baroque to the modern era.
