About the performance
Born near Rome in 1953, Giorgio Battistelli has been one of Italy's most important composers since the sensational success of his artisan opera EXPERIMENTUM MUNDI, and with his operas such as RICHARD III, LOT and, most recently, GIULIO CESARE, he has played a major role in shaping contemporary music theatre. With IL TEOREMA DI PASOLINI he now turns to a material that has fascinated him since his youth. Participants in the production will give an impression of the special sounds Battistelli has found for this material ... A panel discussion.
