About the performance
Director Claus Guth has worked with Chaya Czernowin on a number of major projects. Following on from PNIMA (2000, Munich Biennale) and ZAIDE / ADAMA (2006, Salzburg Festival), HEART CHAMBER is the third new work by Czernowin to be staged by Guth. To mark the beginning of rehearsals Claus Guth and Chaya Czernowin offer insights into the piece and into their thoughts on how to render it for the stage. Designer Christian Schmidt will show his sketches and drafts for sets and costumes.
