The ‘Giovani Cantori’ choir from Turin is one of Italy's most renowned children's and youth choirs and has attracted attention in recent years both nationally and internationally with innovative concert programmes. The ‘Junge Chor der Deutschen Oper Berlin’ emerged in 2013 from the opera house's children's chorus and its musical repertoire ranges from contemporary music theatre productions to concert pieces. Both choruses have been engaged in an intensive choral exchange since 2023.
The joint concert spans a musical arc from works by Palestrina to the Latvian composer Rihards Dubra and from classical to modern choral music. A short tour around the world also takes in South America, Europe and the Philippines, rounding off this colourful musical spring bouquet. An extraordinary choral concert with over 100 young people from Italy and Germany.
