About the performance
It was the invention of the microphone that made the voices of Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Marvin Gay or Miles Davis, dimmed into the erotic, possible in the first place. For their homage to the music of crooners, the BigBand of the Deutsche Oper Berlin has now invited Max Mutzke, one of Germany's most popular and versatile artists, who always convinces with his soulful and instantly recognisable voice.
