It's happening – we invite you to a series of preliminary events before Rued Langgaard's largely unknown opera ANTIKRIST premieres at the Deutsche Oper Berlin on 21 March 2020. We are beginning with a public conception meeting: during a discussion with dramaturg Lars Gebhardt, conductor Stephan Zilias as well as director and designer Ersan Mondtag will introduce Rued Langgaard and his visually stunning "church opera" ANTIKRIST. With free entry, you get an exclusive look into the director's visual world and an initial impression of the composer's late Romantic music.
