Fashion is always new. The thing of tomorrow. Fashion is the face of the times. What is HIP and IN. Fashion wants to stand out. With fashion you want to show that you know the signs of the times and dress accordingly or you rebel against the zeitgeist and choose exactly the opposite. The way we dress often also reflects our wishes and dreams ... we want to be the .... the or the ... or at least to be seen as such. Fashion is a way of showing your inner self to the outside world or hiding it...

In the co-operation project between the VolXbühne and the Mülheim Rembergschule - special school for mental development, 14 special school pupils aged between 11 and 13, 4 citizens and the Mülheim musician Peter Eisold set off together in search of this fleeting phenomenon, which appears as if out of nowhere and - just when you've got used to it - is washed away again by a new fashion wave.
